Orders & Production
Can I cancel or change my order? Made-to-order pieces go into production quickly. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible at hello@orealislabel.com. Once production has started, changes can't be guaranteed.
What is your return policy? All sales are final. Due to the made-to-order nature of many of our pieces, we cannot accept returns.
Do you offer exchanges? We want to ensure your pieces fit well! Select styles are available for exchange. Visit each item's product page to see if it is available for an exchange. If you would like to make an exchange please reach out to us at hello@orealislabel.com before sending anything back. We'll confirm eligibility and share next steps from there. Note that exchanged items may have a production window of around two weeks depending on the piece. Made to order pieces are not available for exchanges.
Exchange shipping is the buyer's responsibility. We recommend a tracked service.
I have a question about sizing or fit. Can I reach out before ordering? Always. Email us at hello@orealislabel.com and we'll help you figure out the right size before you commit. Additionally, each product page includes measurements for each item. We encourage you to check the size chart for your specific item to see if it's a match.
My order arrived damaged. What do I do? Email us at hello@orealislabel.com within 7 days with a photo and your order number.
The Collection
Will sold-out pieces be restocked? Handcrafted and small-batch pieces are often made from deadstock materials, so restocks aren't always possible. When a fabric is gone, it's gone. Made-to-order pieces are seasonal.
Love an archived style? Let us know by emailing us at hello@orealislabel.com and we will see if it's possible to bring it back (or create something similar!).
Do you offer custom sizing? Not at this time. Size guides are on each product page. If you have a specific question about fit, email us before ordering.
Sustainability
How does Orealis think about sustainability? It shapes how we build the collection.
We produce in small batches on purpose. Less inventory means less waste, and it means every piece that exists was made because someone actually wanted it. We source deadstock fabrics through FABSCRAP, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that collects excess fabric from New York City fashion houses and diverts it from the landfill. For non-deadstock materials, we prioritize natural fibers wherever we can.
Where printing is involved, we work with producers who use water-based and biodegradable inks applied directly to the fabric, a method that reduces water consumption and avoids the harsh chemicals associated with traditional printing processes.
Why deadstock? The fabric already exists. Using deadstock means no new material is produced for the piece, and something that would otherwise go to the landfill gets a second life instead.
Sizing & Fit
How do I find my size? Each product page has a size guide. When in doubt between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for most of our pieces.
Do your pieces run true to size?
Our sizing varies but often runs smaller than typical US sizing, so please check the size guide for each individual product before purchasing.
Shipping
How do I track my order? You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order ships.
I haven't received my order and the estimated date has passed. What should I do? Check your tracking link first. If it's been more than 2 business days past your estimated delivery date, email us at hello@orealislabel.com with your order number.
Where do you ship? We ship to the United States only at this time.
Where are your pieces shipped from? Orealis pieces are shipped from New York City, Montreal, and London. Each product page will note its shipping origin. Your confirmation email will include tracking so you always know where your order is.
How long does shipping take? Most orders ship within 1 to 3 business days. Our silk scarves are made to order and ship within approximately 2-10 business days.
